The target audience is most likely to be young adults, both males and females as it is the news so it is equally relevant to everyone. It is not likely to appeal to the younger audience because often children will not care much about the news and it is not likely to appeal to an older audience as it is very informal. It includes the presenter Jon Stewart and he is the main face of this show, in this clip he does not use any reporters but instead just present's the story himself. There are no interviews present as the story that is being presented did not need any interviews. Instead he uses short clips from another news programmer to prove his points. |The program covers what Fox news is saying and ridicules it. It also slightly covers the racial problems with police in the USA at the time that it was released. During this clip he is talking to the camera as if it was a live audience, he also has a live audience with him while the preforms, so it makes the viewer seem like they were there at the time that it was being made. No voice overs are used because instead he is directly presenting it to the audience with the camera focusing on him. He does not present both sides of the issue as first of all he is trying to prove his point so he does not want to have to present the other side and secondly because it is intended for comedy purposes so he shows the side that is most funny to the audience o maximize there enjoyment.
